My Derby and Me

This is my derby car. I made it for boyscouts. It is very special to me. I came up with the designs all by myself. My Dad helped me carve it and I sanded it. We painted it green first, then we covered it with tape, then we drew a design of flames. The we cut the tape off where we we were going to paint and then we painted that part red. When it was dry, we covered it in tape again, and made a design of arrows on both sides and the top and we painted them blue. Then we nailed in the wheels. We're going to have a derby race on Saturday. I hope to get 2nd or 1st place. But even if I don't win, it's still worth it because I had a fun time making my car with my dad.

Fireworks

On the Fourth of July, I was acting like a popsicle man that was a ninja. I liked this firework because it had a circle in the middle and a big circle on it. That's what it looked like, of course.

The Adventure of Chimchar

This is Chimchar. He is a little monkey. He decided to go on an adventure and I took some pictures of him. This is what he did. He visited the big clock in London and climbed to the top. He went to a glass bottom boat and decided to sit down and take a rest. Then he went to the jungle in Africa and he decided to climb up some trees. He likes to climb because he's a monkey. Then he went to another jungle in South America. It was hard for him to get to it, but he still did it! That's the end of the travels of Chimchar.
